【摘要】:Preformedtapesealantsaretacky,deformablesolids,thatareusedundercompressionbetweentwoormoresubstrates,invarioussealingapplicationswherethesurfacesmaybeofsimilarordissimilarmaterials.Thisproceduremeasuresthetensilestrengthofthepreformedtapesealant.Italsoprovidesanindicationofthecohesivenatureandadhesivebondingpropertiesofthepreformedtapesealant.Thisprocedureisnotintendedtosimulateactualuseconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedurefordeterminingthetensileadhesivestrengthofapreformedtapesealant.Thetypeoffailurecanbedetermined,andthedegreeofcohesive/adhesivefailurecanbeestimated.1.2Thevaluesstatedinmetric(SI)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.3ThesubcommitteewithjurisdictionisnotawareofanysimilarISOstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
