【摘要】:Thispracticecoversspecificproceduresandtestconditionsthatareapplicableforxenon-arcexposureofplasticsconductedinaccordancewithPracticesG151andG155.Thispracticealsocoversthepreparationoftestspecimens,thetestconditionsbestsuitedforplastics,andtheevaluationoftestresults.Note1-Previousversionsofthispracticereferencedxenon-arcdevicesdescribedinPracticeG26,whichdescribedveryspecificequipmentdesigns.PracticeG26isbeingreplacedbyPracticeG151,whichdescribesperformancecriteriaforallexposuredevicesthatuselaboratorylightsourcesandbyPracticeG155,whichgivesrequirementsforexposingnonmetallicmaterialsinxenon-arcdevices.PracticeG26willbeballotedforwithdrawalbeforeDecember2000.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note2-ThispracticeistechnicallyequivalenttoISO4892-2.
