【摘要】:Inthebuyer-sellerrelationshipitisnecessarythatanunderstandingexistsastotheexpectednominalcharacteristicsoftheproduct,andthemagnitudeofpermissibledeparturefromthenominalvalues.Also,itisnecessarythatanagreementbereachedastohowmanyunitsofalotcanfalloutsideofthespecificationlimitswithoutrejectionofthelot.Itisthislattersubjectthatisaddressedbythistestmethod.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforsamplingandtestinguntreatedpapertobeusedasanelectricalinsulatororasaconstituentofacompositematerialusedforelectricalinsulatingpurposes.1.1.1Untreatedpapersarethin,fibroussheetsnormallylaiddownfromawatersuspensionofpulpedfibers(usuallycellulosic),whichmaycontainvariousamountsofnonfibrousingredients,andwhicharecalendared,ifrequired,toobtaindesiredthicknessanddensity.Nevertheless,thesetestmethodsareapplicable,generallyalthoughnotinvariably,topapersformedbyothermeans,topapersmodified(duringorafterformation)byadditions,andtopapersgivensubsequentmechanicaltreatmentssuchascreping.1.1.2Asanelectricalinsulatinganddielectricmaterial,paperisconsideredx201C;untreatedx201D;untilitissubjectedtoamanufacturingprocesssuchasdrying,impregnation,orvarnishtreatment.1.1.3Thetestmethodsgivenhereinweredevelopedspecificallyforpapershavingathicknessof0.75mm(0.030in.)orless.Anumberofthesetestmethodsarealsosuitableforuseonothermaterialssuchaspulpsorboards.RefertoTestMethodsD3376orMethodsD3394todeterminewhichtestsareapplicabletopulpsorelectricalinsulatingboards.Inthepaperindustry,someproductsinthicknessesoflessthan0.75mmaretermedx201C;paperboardx201D;.Suchproductsareincludedwithinthescopeofthesemethods.1.1.4Thesetestmethodsareapplicabletoflexiblefibrous-matmaterialsformedfromsuspensionsoffiberinfluidsotherthanwater.Thesematsmayhavethicknessesapproaching2mm,andmaycontainfibersthatarenatural,synthetic,organic,orinorganic;fillersthatarenatural,synthetic,organic,orinorganic;andflexiblepolymericbindermaterials.1.2Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Procedure
